I had kinda hoped I’d get to leave around 2pm today since the weather was supposed to get bad. Now, don’t get me wrong; the weather was disgusting and awful today. The problem is that it was all rain and sleet, with no freeze or sticky stick snow. We toughed the weather to have a delicious, productive meeting at West Oak. I swear guys, I am not into sausage at all, but the spicy sausage croissant at West Oak is life-altering.
After an even more productive meeting with Design this afternoon about the forthcoming fall TV spot, I had lunch with Michael, Chris, and Ahna at a new place called Muddy Jakes. It’s like a rugby-centric sports bar. I usually hate sports bars, but this place is great! Everything on the menu sounds delicious, and I’m eager to go back again and try something else.
The weather did go REALLY south pretty early this afternoon, so I did get to leave a little early. It was just heavy, nasty rain. By this evening though it had turned into some serious snow-ice. As of right now, campus is opening at noon tomorrow, but I bet it’ll shut down completely at this rate.
