This morning, Gabi came over to Chilton so we could all get registered to take our drone test. That process was hilariously awful. We had to do it over the phone, and each of us had to take turns giving our info over the phone. Each time one of us gave our info, we had to pass the phone to Gabi so she could give the same card info for payment. Even scheduling the thing was great. We told the dude where and when we wanted to take the test; then he told us to while on while he called them and set it up. So good.
In the afternoon we had a “stock show and rodeo” meeting, where the photo/video team got together to look at stock photos and video we all shot over the past month. It was actually a lot of fun! Gary got us cookies and jelly beans, and we had a nice little projector setup on which to look at everything.
Emily has been getting stressed about work lately–LA put her a little behind–so we went out for some drinks this evening to get away from it all. Amanda has some friends visiting from DC or somewhere, so we met them and hung out at Paschall for a bit. Then we hung out at East Side for a bit. The dude with the pet squirrel was there, as well as somebody wandering around dressed like a dinosaur. It really was an interesting Wednesday.
