The town of Telluride hosted the start of the 2013 Ride the Rockies, while at the same time celebrating the town's Wild West Fest, an event that exposes underserved Native American and inner city youth to the arts, cusotms and culture of the West. Ride the Rockies often plans on such events when drwing up the routes to expose riders to the unique people and places of Colorado's communities.
