"ABSTRACT" Challenge
"Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
This is actually a remix of my post for tomorrow. Can you guess what the original is? I thought it would be perfect for today's challenge of "Abstract Color." Color makes me smile; it inspires me. Art is the expression of imagination, and I dream in very vivid colors. Created on Sunday, March 4, 2012 exclusively for today's challenge, here is my contribution to fellow SmugMugger Billie Jean's "ABSTRACT" Friday.
According to Wikipedia, "Abstract art uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world. Abstraction indicates a departure from reality in depiction of imagery in art. This departure from accurate representation can be only slight, or it can be partial, or it can be complete. Total abstraction bears no trace of any reference to anything recognizable."
Thanks for challenging us Billie Jean and have a funtagious Friday, my friends.
