After the thunderstorm passed over Sydney, I left the Art Gallery of New South Wales and made my way, like I had planned to do earlier, to the Royal Botanic Gardens. It not only contains row upon row of some of the most beautiful plants, flowers and trees, but also gives you a view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House, all set against the luscious green gardens. It borders the waters of the harbour with Farm Cover on one side and Woolloomooloo Bay on the other. As I was wandering the rows of plant life, I caught this little bird perched on a branch of some tree. It was just sitting there, covered from above by some thick foliage, and didn't want to move or fly away, even though the rain had passed. Even the clicking of my shutter didn't startle it. I think it was more curious about me than I was of it.
