The Blue-footed Booby is one of the birds which people closely associate with the Galapagos. It is found throughout the archipelago, and it is common. Not only that, it is very tame (but then what isn't on these islands!), and we often see the boobies' peculiar mating dance where they raise and lower their electric-blue feet. A little trivia here: the males and females can be differentiated by the size of their pupils! (Photo by participant Johnny Powell)
