SmugMug > all-time keyword > bragg > Abandoned Garage, Point Cabrillo While visiting Point Cabrillo Lighthouse, we discovered this abandoned garage. I thought that it had the potential to make a nice night photography subject. We returned later in the evening. To the eye, it was much, much darker than the capture shows. The moon phase was in it's first quarter, lighting the side of the barn. One quick pop of the spot light, pointing to the ground cast a broader, softer light to illuminate the front of the garage. The interior was lit with multiple pops of a blue gel covered strobe. I used a higher ISO of 200 to shorten the exposure time. I chose a higher ISO value to shorten the exposure so I could get back to the hotel room quicker. I chose comfort over noise.
