It is easy to see why the Currituck Beach Light was added to the National Register of Historic Places.  The beautiful brick structure in its park like setting in the Outer Banks of North Carolina was constructed in 1875 and is still guiding sailors today.  Stock Image #20110526-154826

Lobster Buoys of Peggy's Cove - The colorful lobster buoys hanging on the side of a shack in Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia reminds us all of the importance of fishing to the maritime coasts of Canada.
