A short walk became a survival training
I have mentioned our dog Giorgio very much in my stories. Now, on this walk, he was of course also with me. What you see in my photo is the mountain „Sulzfluh“ (2’817 meters). And about 1’869 meters there is a small mountain lake and usually I do not need more than a few hours to reach this place. But that day, I was glad to have seen the lake at all. Well, what happened?
Well, Giorgio has now become a teenager, and as a teenager he act like a teenager (lol). Also he has now the habit of chasing anything that moves. I can practically not walk straight forward with him. Left a bird, wooow!!! Ohhh, right a rabbit, cooool!!! I felt like I was in a shopping center: „Ohhhhh, look, Final Sale. And here… shoes at half price!“. Anyway, on the left, there was a rabbit in the forest. And like a rocket he disappeared behind the rabbit. „Giorgioooooo, no, nooooo!!!“ The rabbit ran away, Giorgio behind the rabbit, and me of course behind Giorgio! What a picture. Well, the whole game ended in a swamp. And then we both had to crawl out of the swamp. Don’t misunderstand it. It was at no time dangerous, just annoying. On my two legs, I could not walk, so I had to crawl. Can you imagine how we looked like? Our color was suddenly brown, and our smell not like Chanel No. 5, how wonderful!
Then we looked at each other. It was clear that Giorgio wanted to go home. „No chance my friend, in gods name we will reach this lake, and we will have our fun there!!!!“ Back on the road we met some hikers. But the hikers made a big circle around us. Sure, I would do the same ha, ha, ha!!! We looked perfect camouflaged. We looked like two bushes that could run and had a very special and sporty smell (lol). We sprayed a wonderful scent that could even kill the flies. But we kept going!
And finally, after more time that I had planned, we reached the lake. Here, Giorgio the dog and „Mr. rabbit hunter" had the opportunity to have a bath in the lake, so that I could recognize him again as a dog!
