Limo loses suspension on LIE (Rt. 495) in Yaphank Saturday, July 26, 2014. A limo traveling west bound at approx. 16:00 hrs. on the LIE lost it's rear suspension resulting in the rear tire rubbing against it's body causing a small fire which was extinguished by the driver with a dry chem. extinguisher. The bevy of beauty's the limo was carrying were able to exit the limo and no injuries were reported. There were no worries, as the women had enough champagne to last them until another mode of transportation arrived. The Yaphank F.D. and Suffolk County Highway patrol responded to the scene. One of the women, and I won't mention who, seemed to be having a spate of bad luck this day, as I saw her later on, east bound this time, with another broken down vehicle, which I assume is the one that rescued her the first time, that appeared to have a flat tire.
