Through a Window - Comer, Georgia

This shot is taken at the ruins of the mill in Watson Mill Bridge State Park.

What you are seeing is a hole busted through the concrete foundation when the working mechanics of the mill were remove. The waterfall is created by part of the old millrace system that still remains.

I was fortunate enough to catch some late afternoon light, to illuminate with. :)
Fiery Reflection - Dawsonville, Georgia

This is an sunset image taken on the west side of War Hill Park on Lake Lanier. War Hill Park is a large park on the north end of Lake Lanier in Dawsonville, GA. It has campsites, beaches, grills, etc. for overnight and day visitors. Apparently there are plans to turn the park into a public marina, which does not sit well with many of the locals. Signs can be seen in front yards saying "Save War Hill Park". From a photographic standpoint it has a few very interesting features and can be effectively shot at either sunrise and sunset for great reflections.
