1931 Grain Elevator at the Celery Flats in Portage, Michigan
This is part of a park and interpretive center. Celery used to be a big deal around here, but now the facilities are museums and a place for receptions and plays.
This isn't my usual thing, but maybe it should be. I've been envious of the late evening HDRs that I've seen on Flickr and decided to make the time to do one of my own after grocery shopping after work.
HDR: 7 images taken on a tripod-mounted Canon G11. Using the histogram on the live view, I started with the underexposures and increased the exposure by one stop until much of the image was blown out. The image was then tweaked with Lightroom and Topaz Star Effects was used on the street lamps.
