No Farms No Beer
This woman pedals around my Southeast Portland, Oregon neighborhood on her three-wheel cargo bike, one of many creative and utilitarian bikes that abound. This was yesterday, December 5. Today we have ice and snow, just a little, but we're real wimps about it (partly excused by the fact that it's hilly and the city doesn't have much snow removal equipment). We get more significant amounts of snow in the city about once a year, and the city just shuts down and has a snow party or heads for Mt Hood. Some cyclists just keep on commuting by bike in all kinds of weather.
