Astronomical Clock, Prague, Czechia - The medieval clock (installed in 1410) adorns the southern wall of the Old Town City Hall in the Old Town Square. It announces every hour with 12 apostles passing by the window above the astronomical dial, at the same time many sculptures begin to move. Death holds an hourglass and beckons to the Turkish man sculpture, which shakes its head in response. When the apostles finish their journey, the cockerel crows and shakes its wings, the bell rings and the clock chimes the hour.
