DAY 15 – FUJI ROCK ‘14 - ARTISTS
Not forgetting that Fuji Rocks is most importantly a music festival - let’s have some artists. Here a funny story - passing by large trash crates we were separating plastic bottle from its wrapper, to put them in two different containers. Then, as usual, we were left with a plastic cap, for which there is always a small, separate box. It was missing! Which means there was nowhere to throw it out! When we decided to leave unsatisfied of our recycling efforts, with the cap in our pocket - we spotted two guys looking very closely to one side of the bin crates (usually there is some crew inside the crates, to guide you in your recycling process). As we came closer, we see these two lads admiring a row of bottle caps, nicely lined up on the edge of the bin crate. After a brief discussion about the amazing planet that Japan is - it appeared they couldn’t join our further adventures, as they are shortly rushing off onto the stage, to play together with Damon Albarn (Blur, Gorillaz). One of the chaps plays percussion, the other plays guitar. And the latter one is here on the picture, playing later on on the main Green Stage. Phew, what a long story.
