I was trekking around Northwest Colorado with some friends recently, and we came upon the Wyman Living History Museum. This museum was founded by Lou Wyman in August of 2006. The place place has an amazing collection of items collected throughout the west and beyond. We spent several hours at this place, and quite literally only began to scratch the surface of unique items to photograph. Needless to say, this is a place I will return to in the near future. I took this shot of an old caboose that was sitting on the museum property. This particular caboose was owned by the Colorado and Southern (C&S) Railway. It is wooden construction, and was retired from service in August of 1973. Lou Wyman brought this caboose to the museum, and in the process tore out many street lights along Colfax Avenue in Denver.
