Cygnus Wall in Hubble Palette
This is a section of the North America Nebula in the constellation of Cygnus (The Swan). The nebula is approximately 1600 light years distant.
This is a narrowband image shot through SII, Ha and OIII filters. The SII is mapped to Red, the Ha to Green and the OIII to Blue in what is known as 'Hubble Palette'.
The images were captured using a Skywatcher Esprit 120 telescope and QSI 690 camera atop a Mesu 200 mount in my home observatory in the UK.
Data was captured between 27 May and 19 August 2017 and conists of:
