Valentine Sunrise As I was pouring a cup of coffee this morning, barely awake, I looked out my window and immediately had to run out to snap a few shots. The cold 12° F weather wasn't going to stop me...nor would the fact that I was wearing some PJ pants and a t-shirt. I jumped i the car, drove down the road and stood by this tree. The cold, metal tripod in my trunk was very cold on my hands but I didn't care...I had to get the shot. Post-processing done in Lightroom 4.
Moonlight House I recently visited a friend at his parents' house out in the countryside. It looks very cold, but it was just a couple of degrees below zero celsius. How could I resist taking some photos of the place, especially in that atmospheric moonlight?
I took this panoramic one evening in Ireland while just driving around the country side trying to get lost. I kept making turns without thinking about where I was going. It really was quite fun to not have a destination or care of where I ended up.
