Sunrise over Mt. Sneffels - This year I was able to spend a couple of days photographing the fall colors of Colorado.  I was treated to a beautiful sunrise on the 14,150 foot mountain peak of Mount Sneffels.  I'm already looking forward to next years trip.  Stock Image #20120926-185615
The amount wildlife on the Chilkat river outside of Haines, Alaska is amazing.  In this image,  Trumpeter Swans and Bald Eagle share the river during a snow storm.  Stock Image #20121112-140716G
Moose on the Loose - A Cow Moose leads her calves through the snow to shelter.  Moose, or Eurasian elk in Europe, make their way up the Chilkat river valley on a chilly fall day.  Moose are part of the deer family and are very common in Alaska and the Canadian Yukon.  Stock Image #20111127-152246
The Green Violetear hummingbird (Colibri thalassinus) drinks the nectar from a heavily pollinated flower.  The Green Violetear is a metallic green coloring with lots of iridescence and can be commonly found from Mexico to northern South America.  Stock Image #20120603-160621A

While photographing hummingbirds a Brown Inca (Coeligena wilsoni) visits the flower ready for its picture to be taken.  The Brown Incas are found in Colombia and Ecuador.  Stock Image #20120605-135300B
