"TIED, TANGLED, AND TWISTED"

"Those who cannot understand how to put their thoughts on ice should not enter into the heat of debate." ~ Friedrich Nietzsche

Photographed on day two of the ice in our city due to a winter storm, the massess of ice on the branches of a bush (near the tree with the red berries - yesterday's post) in our neighbor's front yard appear tangled, in my opinion. It was also another 60% work day......woo hoo! One more to go from this series.......

Have a wonderful "hump" day!

"SPIKES OF ICE"

“Honesty is like an icicle; once it melts, that is the end of it” ~ American Proverb

This is one of my favorites in my "Ice, Ice Baby - 2013" series. I was pleasantly surprised to see colorful leaves on this small bush in our front yard. Photographed on day two of the ice in our city due to a winter storm, it was also another 60% work day.

Thanks for your comments on yesterday's "Frozen Leaves" photo.

Happy Monday and have a great start to the work week.

"FROZEN LEAVES"

“Constant kindness can accomplish much. As the sun makes ice melt, kindness causes misunderstanding, mistrust, and hostility to evaporate.” ~ Albert Schweitzer

It's Super Bowl XLVII Sunday in NOLA (New Orleans, LA, that is:) and John and Jim Harbaugh have become the first brothers to coach against one another on the NFL's biggest stage. John is the head coach for the Baltimore Ravens; Jim, on the other hand, is the head coach for the San Francisco 49ers. My guys are pulling for the Balitmore Ravens.

Have a blessed, touchdown, and win-win kind of day.

"FROZEN DEAD LEAVES"

"Do not think of your faults; still less of others' faults. Look for what is good and strong and try to imitate it. Your faults will drop off like dead leaves when their time comes." ~ John Ruskin

Brrrrr..........frozen leaves on a wrought iron chair - photographed on day two of the winter ice storm in our city this year. The result? It was another 60% work day..........woo hoo!!!

I appreciate your comments on my "Ice, Ice, Baby" series:)! Also, I've noticed that some of my previous daily photos are reappearing today - some with comments, others without. Thanks, anyway.

Have a safe weekend, my friends!
