"2013 Nissan Silver Leaf"

"Never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly." ~ Author Unknown

Our oldest son is an employee of Nissan USA. I love the crystallized look of the vertical lights.

"The Nissan LEAF® is 100% electric. That means no gas. None. Never pay for gas again. When we say 100% electric, we mean it. The Nissan LEAF® doesn’t even have a gas tank. You’ll never fill up again. Sounds liberating, doesn’t it? So forget about the cost of a gallon, and say hello to freedom from the pump. Because the only time you’ll be going to the gas station is whenever you need to put air in your tires." ~ Reprinted text from here: http://www.nissanusa.com/electric-cars/leaf/features/

"FORMERLY OWNED BY SUGAR RAY LEONARD"

"The difference between men and boys is the price of their toys." ~ Doris Rowland

On display, although not for sale, was this black Bentley Turbo-R, which the current owner contends was formerly owned by boxing champion Sugar Ray Leonard. According to the information card, production was between 1985-1997, with 7,230 assembled in Crewe, Shire, England. This one is a 4 door Sedan and has a 6.75 L, Bentley 8 engine. Also, this model is related to the Rolls Royce Silver Spirit.

I appreciate your comments on the "Headlight 2 " photo yesterday. Although it was in the #1 spot, according to the number of comments, it was actually #4. Congratulations to my friend Rob Moody, whose photo was #1. View it here: http://www.moodyimaging.com/popular/2366872327_6j2MvCh#!i=2366872327&k=6j2MvCh&lb=1&s=A

"IN HONOR OF MAE CAROL JEMISON"

"What everyone in the astronaut corps shares in common is not gender or ethnic background, but motivation, perseverance, and desire - the desire to participate in a voyage of discovery." ~ Ellen Ochoa

This photo of an astronaut prototype is posted in honor of African-American History Month and "Mae Carol Jemison (born October 17, 1956), an American physician and NASA astronaut. She became the first black woman to travel in space when she went into orbit aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour on September 12, 1992. After her medical education and a brief general practice, Jemison served in the Peace Corps from 1985 to 1987, when she was selected by NASA to join the astronaut corps. She resigned from NASA in 1993 to form a company researching the application of technology to daily life. She is a dancer, and holds nine honorary doctorates in science, engineering, letters, and the humanities." ~ Reprinted text from Wikipedia
