"AT MY FOOT"
"The fall of a leaf is a whisper to the living.” ~ Russian Proverb
All of a sudden, I looked down and this brown leaf was at my right foot, so I pointed the camera, zoomed in as far as I could, and snapped. It was photographed at the gravel turn-around driveway of Eugenia "Skeeter" Phelan's Home ("The Help" movie's filming location).
I am honored that many of you are enjoying this series and can recall scenes and events from the movie. It's amazing that my best friend shipped the movie to me a year prior to me ever opening or watching it. I've not read the book, but from what I am told and your comments, it's a must read, so I will have to purchase it. Many of you know that I am an avid reader. By the way, I will conclude this series soon:).
Eugenia "Skeeter" Phelan's home was filmed in two places. The exterior of her farm house was filmed at the house shown here. The interior of the home was the Franklin Residence at 613 River Road; view it here: http://www.smugmug.com/gallery/20164234_tF7zpL#!i=2371577720&k=MKwpwTM&lb=1&s=A
