Thursday, April 11, 2013 "RATTLING OFF" "If I had known how wonderful it would be to have grandchildren, I'd have had them first." ~ Lois Wyse There aren't enough superlatives in the dictionary to describe how we feel about our five grandchildren. Biblically, the number five represents God's "grace." Teething ring / rattle belonging to our youngest grandson - I love the colors, of course; coincidentally, they blend in with our April table setting:). Here's a tree in our backyard that produces Japanese Magnolias, but on the day this was taken (as you can see), there were none. I love the shadows and how the sun illuminated the leaves. Although not as well-captured, for some reason when I uploaded this one, it reminded me of a scene from nature that fellow SmugMugger Howard would post, minus the "washed-out" sky:). It was a beautiful day, although not sunny. The Japanese Magnolia tree in our backyard has been producing blooms since late last week in preparation for spring's arrival on tomorrow. This shoe was worn last Friday by one of my colleagues who LOVES shoes as much as I do. She wears some of the most unique and attention-grabbing shoes! She sure did look "glam," in her hot pink suit, black shirt, and hot pink/black polka dot bow-tie; but I shudder to think how my feet would have felt at the end of the day:). "ULTRA STILETTOS"

Here's another one for all of the shoe fanciers. This shoe was worn last Friday by one of my colleagues who LOVES shoes as much as I do. She wears some of the most unique and attention-grabbing shoes! She sure did look "glam," in her hot pink suit, black shirt, and hot pink/black polka dot bow-tie; but I shudder to think how my feet would have felt at the end of the day:).

"ULTRA STILETTOS"

Here's another one for all of the shoe fanciers. This shoe was worn last Friday by one of my colleagues who LOVES shoes as much as I do. She wears some of the most unique and attention-grabbing shoes!
