2/12/13 Day 43/365 Decided to try something new today...I'm so tired of feeling bloated and swollen in my hands and face. Don't know what is causing it but it's driving me crazy. I found this lovely stuff at Target this weekend. So far, it may have done nothing other than possibly giving me a migraine :-( Would be nice if it worked! We'll see!
2/11/13 Day 42/365 Ok it's a truly awful picture quality-wise but she looked soooo funny sleeping with her ears weirdly flopped out like this. I just had to snap a pic and all I had near me at the time was my iPod. Unfortunately, I didn't end up taking any other photos today so this I guess this is my pic for today! ;)

2/10/13 Day 41/365 Today is the 4th anniversary of when we rescued our sweet little Layla! We call it our "Laylaversary"! I think we all adore this face a little bit more every day. Here she is, waiting patiently for a cookie :) She really is such a wonderful dog ♥
2/9/13 Day 40/365 Today while the kids were playing in the snow I decided to venture out for a few minutes to mess around with the settings on my Canon and get used to using it in the bright, natural outdoor light. I switched to the shutter speed priority setting and set it to the highest speed possible to try to get a good still shot of a water droplet falling from one of these icicles...and to my pleasant surprise, it worked!!!!!! Too bad I wasn't zoomed in more. If you click to view the extra large sizes of the pic, you can see the droplet much better. So happy I got this :) Maybe I'll try again tomorrow and zoom in more...

2/8/13 Day 39/365 Not too bad for a shot taken through a window :) It was just way too cold to go outside! Anyway, the HUGE snowstorm turned out to be pretty wimpy (at least in Buffalo that is). We got a few inches, but I heard Boston is getting three feet....yuck.
2/7/13 Day 38/365 My poor iPod :-( Shattered when I dropped it on the kitchen floor....it made a horrible sound when it hit and I knew right away it was a goner. Oh well :(
