Wild Ginger Blossoms - Usually hidden under the leaves
It is rare to get a chance to see blossoms of this plant (Asarum canadense, Canadian wild ginger). They appear close to the ground, beneath a canopy of the plant's leaves. This was a hot day, and the leaves were drooping on their stalks, exposing the flowers. Adding to that was the slight slope to the ground which made it possible to position the camera at about the same level as the flowers.
