G is for Gold
This is one of the six pieces of the High Mass vestments and is green brocaded velvet on cloth-of-gold ground with pomegranate design made in Florence about 1480. The set (the only complete one in Europe) consists of four Copes; two Dalmatics, one Chasuble and accompanying Stoles and Maniples.
They are on display in Waterford city's Medieval Museum . http://waterfordtreasures.com/medieval-museum/
I chose this for 2 reasons: It was national Heritage Week and gold vestments seemed appropriate for a Sunday.
Due to the confined space and poor lighting conditions i ended up taking this shot with my iPhone
