It is high time to remember winter tempest in hot summertime. There was a powerfull snowstorm in Moscow, Russia on February the 4th, 2013. The visibility was not more then three hundred yards. One could hardly see the opposit bank of the Moscow river. I was in Gorky park looking at the Moscow river and see almost nothing. And the brave traffic light on the other side of the river was the only one bright spot in the Universe whice gave me some guidance. I was almost lost, you know. And cold, and hungry, and thirsty, and could think just only about a warming gulp of brandy. This thought cheered me a little and helped me to get safe and sound to my home bar. :-)
Seriously speaking, such blizzards are not typical for Moscow, and occur relatively rare.
