I spent an interesting Sunday afternoon walking the streets and alley ways of Denver's Santa Fe Art District. I came across many walls of really beautiful, creative, thought provoking, and sometimes scary art. I thought this was a beautifully painted wall, albeit with a really depressing message. The artist was obviously going through a really, really tough breakup... The message, which is titled 'Desperately Wanting, is as follows:

The woman I love
Falls for another
My heaven
Falls apart.

Sims like,
an arrival

Who can I trust anymore?
Secretly praying
You don't find love

Night calls
She falls for
Given the time
I'll find you.

April 21, 2013 -
Making your way in the world today takes everything you've got.

Taking a break from all your worries, sure would help a lot.

Wouldn't you like to get away?

Sometimes you want to go

Where everybody knows your name ...

April 14, 2013 - I participated in the Annual Denver Open Doors event today, and came away with a numer of pictures that quite honestly I wasn't expecting to capture. This one in particular. I was walking inside the Ellie Caulkin Opera House expecting to capture some wonderful images of the stage and the theatre itself. Unfortunately, photographs of the interior theatre area were prohibited. So, I looked around for other interesting things to photograph. This staircase caught my attention. This view is looking straight upwards.
