Where Have All the Flowers Gone?
I left a lot of surrounding emptiness in this shot on purpose, as far as blooms are concerned. It tells a story of how things are going this spring.

This lone dwarf iris was the only one blooming in the bed. A number of the typical spring bulbs have bloomed in much reduced numbers this year, after a long, hard winter. Only the daffodils and the scilla seem to be going strong.
