This fisherman makes a nice silhouette as he casts into the calm lake.

Bikers flock to Cherry Creek State Park. The roads are a bit rough, but it's an easy ride for lots of people.

The park was full of bikers today. This white-tail deer doe was having a hard time deciding when to cross the road as bikers kept streaming by. They were part of the Greenwood Village Wild Goose Chase, which winds all around Cherry Creek State Park and the Denver Tech Center.

This guy's in a prime birding location. From where he's at there he can see Canada geese, snow geese, mallards, hooded merganzers, red heads, green-winged teals, coots and Northern shovelers. With a little waiting he'll see herons, egrets, kingfishers, raptors and more.

People wanted to see this unrestrained after I put in the Comment box of another picture. So here it is...

It was foggy this morning, so that the sun was a big, red ball for an hour or so. It made the water look like lava.
