The pair of burrowing owls that were near my home are not there anymore.:( This was the shy one of the two. * In answer to mcdonegal1 - I think someone called some agency to report where they were living. I spoke to a lady who said the burrowing owls were on the endangered list and she felt someone should be called. Seems to me they were doing fine surviving on their own. But one day they just weren't there any more. So, I think she made the call.
