Riverside Reflection The skyline of the city of Cleveland, Ohio and the Veterans Memorial Bridge reflected in the Cuyahoga River.
Boulder Beach in Morning Light In Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island in Maine there is a beach along the coast consisting of these wonderfully round boulders. It was an overcast morning and the mountains were covered in fog so I headed down the Park Loop Road and hoped for the best. I reached this beach and despite the gray skies I began the very slow, careful trek across these very slippery boulders towards the sea. After 15 minutes I finally reached the waterline. As I was setting up my tripod I was blessed as the sky opened and my efforts were rewarded as the rocky coast was suddenly bathed in this glorious light. I was overcame with a sense of gratiude for the opportunities I have had to experience the beauty of nature. What a lucky man I am.
Cleveland Skyline at Dusk from Edgewater Park This was taken from the Edgewater Park pier on Lake Erie in Cleveland, Ohio. I was out chasing some great light tonight. But unfortunately by the time I got down here the skies had clouded over and the light was no longer illuminating the city. So I braved the cold and wind and waited for the lights to come on. In the end I really like the dark, brooding sky in the background.
