Repeat after me... DP168-2013 Posted June 17; processed ditto I chose this shot for its repeat pattern and limited color palette. It wasn't well focused and was shot in flat light, so I added a couple of filters to give it a little more visual interest. Bear's Breeches, aka Oyster Plant, Acanthus mollis Family Acanthaceae . . . Native to the Mediterranean...A tender perennial, hardy outdoors only in the warmer climate or growing zones in the USA, but potentially invasive where it is hardy. Acanthus flowers typically have thorns on their sepals (that's what 'acanthus' means), so beware when handling. Waimea Falls After an awesome sunset and sunrise, we decided to hike to Waimea Falls. People are aloud to swim here, (with life vests) The Big Stopper came in handy to get rid of them in Long Exposures. Here is one of my favorites from here.
