Hollywood Studios: The Great Movie Ride
The Great Movie Ride is under-appreciated by a lot of guests today because it doesn't offer any "thrill", but if you're into cinema it's actually pretty fun and interesting. Our first time on it I remember we had this awesome host who, during the curse-of-the-stone-thing part, made the funniest face when it was revealed that she was the evil 'soul' (I guess?) who thwarts the thief. It was this "yea. sucker." look that made the whole car laugh and cheer.
Aesthetically, however, the entire building is (literally) a work of art. For many trips I've wanted to tackle it, but felt that normal lenses never seemed to do it justice. The fisheye changed everything, naturally, as I could begin to exaggerate whatever elements I wanted.
Ultimately my favorite of the bunch was this. Just inside, I set my GorillaPod down and started snapping. I'm in love with it. Hopefully you all will be, too.
