I was out-n-about practicing my technique for capturing Birds In Flight (BIF). This Snowy Egret was kind enough to do a slow fly-by so that I could capture a picture. I shot this image using a 70-200 lens maxed out at the long end. And I still feel that I needed more reach to really capture a fantastic BIF image. This image is cropped significantly, and the pixelation artifacts definitely can be seen.

I was out-n-about recently practicing my technique for photographing birds in flight (BIF). I captured this image of a Snowy Egret flying low across a lake.
