In the Summer, when the sun goes down in the southwest coast of Portugal, the Milky Way emerges from the sea like a monster, showing all its power and beauty for them who dare to contemplate it. Acting as the main character of these starry nights of the Algarve coast, it can be easily observed by naked eyes thanks to the low levels of light pollution that comes from the sea! This is my first night shot ever from this region of the country and I have to confess that I am very pleased with all of the detail which is possible to capture of the core of the Milky Way here!
Here, aligned with one of the feet of the rocky arc in the Albandeira beach, made me feel very small and insignificant before a monster of the seas with a body and soul.
