Trust me I was safe..... Zoomed in and the train was sitting still on a foggy morning in Corbin, KY.
Little Quittacus on a late fall morning This spot is tucked away on Little Quittacus, which is part of the Assawompsett Ponds Complex. Happy 12 12 12!
11.12.12 - The Portal Not much to say about this image, apart from the fact that I love fog and this is the first time I've had chance to get out in some with the camera for a while. It was a beautiful morning, and I got some great shots of the cathedral across the fog filled valley, one of which is my main Daily today.
11.12.12 - The Maid in the Mist It is four years since I've managed to photograph this, a temperature inversion over the city with the cathedral floating serenely above everything. I hung around for a while hoping for a sharper line at the top of the fog, but all that happened was a slow dissipation. It was still a beautiful thing to see anyway :)
Clouds on the western horizon begin to break up and scatter shortly after sunset.
