At work I did some scoping around the new sculpture to see if anything was shootable. Ahna and I ended up taking some pics and video at a dog therapy session going on at Willis. They had about a half dozen dogs there where people could just walk up and pet them as they pleased. Seems like a nice thing to have! I bet it’s especially nice for the kids who live in dorms and aren’t allowed to have pets.
This evening I rode with Emily to Texas Scratch Kitchen, a restaurant in Dallas she branded. Tonight was friends and family night, kind of a soft opening to help them get things ironed out. Aside from the crazy long wait for our food (I think they forgot about us for awhile there), the stuff was fantastic! Everything tasted great, and the menu is packed with stuff I can’t wait to try. This is the meatloaf, FYI. Go check this place out. Three dollar signs.
