This is a view of the South West end of Rattlesnake Lake. I just love the mist on the water and it comes out best with HDR. Another photographer nearby had a filter, but I don't have one so HDR it is if I want the darks to show up against the brighter sky. For this picture I climbed up on a very large, overturned stump and shot without a tripod. I was able to rest my elbows on part of the stump for stability.
