5/19/13 - I've gotten very few shots of tulips this year...just haven't seen many!  I decided I liked the b/w version of these lavender/pink ones.  What do you think?

Thanks for all your comments on my first long exposure in Zion.  Someone asked about the lavender tones.  Don't know why it was that way; that is just how it turned out.  It may be that the red canyon walls which were quite steep on both sides gave the water a slight piinkish cast.
May 18th, 2013: Jack in the Pulpit (or that's what I call them)

What a great day!  Made some new friends (of the human variety) and brought home some finned friends!  More details tomorrow.  I promise it won't be a yard shot tomorrow!
My pepper plants are in the ground on this fine Saturday, May 18 2013. 

These are the first garden plants that I started from seeds in containers. I may have left them in the container to long, but we'll see how it turns out.
