"VINTAGE CHATEAU" Theme

“A single conversation across the table with a wise person is worth a month's study of books." ~ Kathleen Norris

The debut of our March table setting........

My inspiration was sparked by the towels - yes, those are dish towels (each one has a unique design) that I've placed on the black plates. Also, with the exception of the candle sticks, candle jars, cups, and marbles, all other accessories have been featured in previous table settings.

Additional and close-up photos of this and previous table settings can be viewed here: http://www.smugmug.com/gallery/11014855_M5W6FW#!i=2382407044&k=VTZSKDj

Have a safe and fun weekend.

The Art Traveler

My friend Per, as we were on a bus heading for the Thiel Gallery to see an exhibition with Edvard Munch. It was great to see Munch's sketches and paintings, most notably, to me personally, his portrait of Friedrich Nietzsche. I also got to see Nietzsche's death mask! How cool is that?
Stargazer

I got this portrait of my friend Per as we stood outside his home. I think a snow shoveler on the opposite roof caught his fancy, but let's imagine he saw a falling star instead. Reality, in art, needs romanticism.

FIg 6.7 / Piaget's Conservation Task /

This is the photo that is pictured on the VAM and the photo we used in the previous edition. However, I know you preferred Choice #2 in LSD14e, Essentials and Child Development. So, I was not sure if you would rather use #2 here as well.
