Polarized LE of Clouds over Victorian Gothic Architecture, Memorial Hall Harvard University - Cambridge MA USA
The hardest part of this shot was parking, but after circling a few times I finally got a spot. I actually hawked someone trying to parallel park and they had no chance so I hung back for a five minutes, they finally gave up and I swooped in first try. After I started this exposure I carefully took a picture of a couple with their iPhone in front of the door just below the frame, got back with plenty of time. That wasn't the only shot I took for people with their phones while I was waiting for exposures, and I even got a compliment on my tee shirt by a passerby. Anyways, the polarizer knocked back the glare on the windows and bricks quite nicely, as this facade was in direct sunlight. With single exposures I always use a simple RC-6 wireless remote, so nothing is attached to the camera.
