Wild roses found alongside a creek from a long ago homesteader that manage to survive in the high desert of Central Oregon. I don't know how old they are but I am 66 and they were there when I was a child and this was one of our favorite places to go..

No. 6023 "King Edward II" departing Quorn and Woodhouse for Loughborough. This Great Western King Class passenger locomotive was the star of this year's gala having just had it's major overhaul completed.
