It definitely seems like I caught something up there on the mountain yesterday. It was all sniffles and shivers today, which made it hard to enjoy our last day in California. Emily got up for an early morning run while Meghan took (adorable) maternity photos of Jayme and Mitch. I chased Emily on her entire run with the Mavic. Man that thing is cool.
We packed up shortly after, and made the trek back to LA. We had brunch at a nice place, but even sitting right against a heater I was shivering. I thought a massive french toast would help me out. It didn’t. We all wandered around town, checking out some shops and markets. Then we hung out at the Sadlers’ to kind of wind down.
We Ubered to the airport, caught a plane, and got stuck in the air for a little while. Dallas had some intense thunderstorms (and a few tornadoes) tonight, and we had to fly in circles until it moved away from the runway. It is great to be home! Thanks Wright for picking us up, and for dealing with that awful traffic on 35.
