Coming Back to Life
Between winter and spring, nature is more complex and I search for abstracts that push the boundaries of expressionism and nature photography. Such it was with this cliff side in the Cherokee National Forest in late March, coming out of winter. The green and yellow mossy rocks combined with the tangled web of vines were slowly coming back to life with color after winter.
Look closely; do you see “Old Man Winter’s” face fading away as spring emerges?
