Panorama image captured from Castillo del Morro (opposite Havana) showing a lone fishing boat in front of the beautiful city of Havana as it meets the ocean.
A long & winding highway known as the Malecón stretches along the seafront from the entrance to Havana Bay for five miles towards the Vedado area.
The road has a mix of dilapidated buildings which are battered by the sea air & newer hotels which house the majority of Havana's visitors.
By day the road is awash with Cocotaxi's & classical cars puffing smoke from their exhausts. As the sun begins to set, & the air begins to cool, locals flock to the area to socialise until the early hours.
It quickly turned into my favourite location during my short stay there & I long to return.
