Taken near Grundarfjörður, Iceland.
After watching a strong display of the Northen Lights near our hotel, we headed away from the towns to try and get a better view of the skies and to get away from the clouds that were quickly closing in. We saw a weaker display further from the town, but around 3:30am after waiting probably close to an hour for the clouds to clear and almost falling asleep at the tripods we decided to head back to the hotel.
Just a short drive down the road our driver spotted them again filling the sky above the road and we all got out for some more photos before the clouds closed in on us again. This is probably one of my favourite shots I got of the Northern Lights from this trip. Luckily there aren't many cars on the road at that time
