2-13-13 Oregon Central Coast
2-12-13 Rockaway Beach Sky
2-11-13 Storm Near the Columbia - this was a 35 sec exposure that captured the drama of the storm light. This was taken with my Nikon D800E.
2-10-13 Astoria Bridge- this is a 25 sec exposure done with the Nikon d800e.
2-9-13 River Patterns Along the Nestucca captured with my Nikon D800E.
2-8-13 Poison Dart Frog - this was taken with my Nikon D800E at the University of Washington Greenhouse. I am not sure what all the orange is on the frog...warts...food...skin disease...any thoughts appreciated.
2-7-13 The Guild 45 Theater in Wallingford, a neighborhood west of the U Dist in Seattle, Washington.
This was taken with my Nikon 1 V1. Judy (fotoeffects) asked if I like my V1 better than my Nikon D800E. Absolutely not the Nikon D800E is my favorite camera ever. I don't like the V1 better than my Olympus and Panasonic Micro 4/3s but I am shooting with it a lot now since it is the everywhere camera that I am using since I am getting to know it. It is fast and snappy and very basic. It's winning point for me is my ability to use my Nikon afs lens on it with the use of adapter which gives me amazingly long telephoto capability in a small package. The crop factor is 2.7 and the image quality is good. My 70-300 lens becomes around a 180-810.
5-13-15 Driftwood Beach near Seal Rock, Oregon
2-6-13 Silhouette at Waldport taken with the Nikon 1 v1.
