3-11-13 Near the Gorge Thanks for making my Newport Bridge the number one image for the day.
3-8-13 Sunset over Puget Sound
3-7-13 Great Blue Heron carrying nest material. I took this image with my Nikon 1 V1 and my 70-300vr lens. It had an effective focal length of 810 mm. I used a Flypaper Texture to enhance the grey background.
3-6-13 This is an HDR of the same scene as my last long exposure. In answer to questions on the filters I se for long exposures, I use a 10 stop Lee Big stopper and a 3 ND Lee filter for a total of 13 stops.
3-5-13 This is a 333 sec exposure (5 min 33 sec). Used a Lee Big Stopper plus another 3 stop ND filer for a reduction of 13 stops.
3-4-13 This was taken yesterday earlier in the day than the Blue Hour Image. This was a 284 sec (almost 5 minutes). I converted this to Black and White using Silver Effex 2. Thanks for all of the feedback on yesterday's image. The small cubicals are fish cleaning stations.
