What I do know is that we stayed at the Greyfield Inn -- built in an area originally knowns as Gray's Field, a property on Cumberland that was gifted to Margaret on the occasion of her marriage to Oliver Ricketson. The house was the first of the Carnegie residences on the island to use a Georgia vernacular style.

It is now the only public accommodation on the island and a spectacular experience to step into.
