Vibrant with spring's exhuberant energy, these tiny cilantro flowers bask in the early morning sun. It's curious that none of the flowers open all at once, but unfold a bit at a time - rather like us humans. This is a serious closeup of this small group, which is part of a much larger flower head. The pinkish-lavender parts are the male anthers, which will soon open to release their pollen. From the right angle, they look like miniature hearts! There's a saying, "Take time to smell the flowers." To that I would add, "and look at them closely - you will probably see something you've never noticed before!"
